By Soccer Blog | Jan 6, 2007

Cottagers boss Chris Coleman has decided to name medio Michael Brown as his new skipper. The move comes after regular skipper Luis Boa Morte moved to West Ham in the winter transfer window.

Brown joined Fulham from Tottenham in January 2006 and has swiftly assured himself of a place in the hearts of the Fulham faithful. The former Sheffield United midfielder has been one of the more consistent players for the Cottagers this season and has wore the captain’s armband for them before in late 2006.
