As some of you might have realised, David Beckham is now free to negotiate with any clubs who wish to sign him for the next season. He has less than 6 months left on his contract with Real Madrid and hasn’t managed to make his mind up on a new contract.
The former Manchester United midfielder has been mostly made to warm the bench at the Bernabeu by new coach Fabio Capello this season and first team opportunities have been extremely rare. Frustrated by this, Becks would like to look elsewhere IMO and there is no dearth of interested clubs.
But Madrid do want to keep him, and made him an offer a few months ago, keeping in mind his commercial importance too. He has yet to make a decision on his future.
Some rumours link him with a reunion with Sven Goran Erikkson at Marseille, some others with a move back to England, and others with a move to the USA.
I do not think Becks would like to come back to England unless one of the top clubs want him. America looks like the most possible destination for him .
