Fabio Capello says Beckham will not play for Real again

By Soccer Blog | Jan 13, 2007

Poor David Beckham. After signing a 5 year 250 million $ contract with the LA Galaxy, the former Manchester United midfielder will not play for Real for the next six months.

Capello has reportedly said that Beckham had been a great professional but they couldn’t count on him as he had already signed a contract with another club.

Beckham will train, but not play and now has to endure close to 6 months on the sidelines. That would mean that Becks’ last appearance in the Madrid Jersey would have been on Sunday, when he replaced Guti in a defeat to Deportivo.
