By Soccer Blog | Mar 16, 2007

Here is the England squad for the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Israel and Andorra. England are currently third in Group E, behind Croatia and Russia.

Goalkeepers : Paul Robinson, Ben Foster, Scott Carson

Defenders : Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Phil Neville, Jonathan Woodgate, Ashley Cole

Midfielders : Owen Hargreaves, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Aaron Lennon, Stewart Downing, Michael Carrick, Scott Parker, Kieron Dyer

Forwards : Darren Bent, Wayne Rooney, Andrew Johnson, Jermaine Defoe

Ashley Cole is suspended for the Israel game, which means that McClaren has to choose between Carragher and Neville for the left back’s spot.

Aaron Lennon makes a return to the squad and is expected to start ahead of Stewart Downing and Kieron Dyer on the left. Gerrard will play on the right, and Lampard and Hargreaves are the first choice pair in the centre.
