AC Milan win Champions League 06-07

As I write this, AC Milan have already extracted their revenge for Istanbul 2005 and walked away with the Champions League trophy in Athens.

Benitez started off with Kuyt playing as a sole striker, and opted to play both Javier Mascherano and Xabi Alonso. He put Kewell on the bench, employed Zenden and Pennant on the wings and gave Gerrard a little more freedom by allowing him to play behind Kuyt.

I wouldn’t get into the details of the game, but Liverpool were not good enough to win the trophy that night. Filippo Inzaghi showed his poaching abilities by scoring both the goals for Milan, thereby extending his stay on the pitch longer than originally thought. His teammate, Clarence Seedorf now has 4 individual Champions League medals.
Also, please check the year of founding of Milan and Liverpool and subtract the latter from the former. Compare that with the number of times that Milan have now won the Champions league. Sneaky little thing, eh ???? :p
