West Brom reject Kamara bid

By Soccer Blog | Jun 12, 2007

Championship side West Bromwich Albion have rejected a 3 million pound bid from newly promoted Birmingham City for Senegal forward Diomansy Kamara.

Kamara was one of the stars last season for the Baggies when they reached the playoff finals before losing to the Rams. He scored 23 goals. He was brought to the Hawthorns in July 2005 after Italian side Modena agreed to let him go for a fee of 1 and a half million pounds.

Birmingham are expected to make an improved offer for Kamara, whose agent has reportedly been quoted saying that he would love to play in the Premiership.
