Champions League round of 16 draw- Chelsea have it easy

By Soccer Blog | Dec 22, 2007

The draw for the second round of the Champions League 2007-08 has been announced, and we do have a few surprises.

Arsenal taking on Milan.

Inter taking on Liverpool

AS Roma vs Real Madrid

Chelsea have it easy, against Olympiakos.

Manchester United face a tricky opponent in French champions Lyon.

Germany’s Schalke O4 will meet FC Porto, while Barcelona will take on Celtic.

Sevilla vs Fenerbahce.

Without a doubt, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United have a tough task in front of them. Can Arsenal get past Milan, last year’s champions ? IMO yes. Liverpool knocking out the Nerazzuri- a good possibility. United vs Lyon is one game I can’t predict. But Lyon might just find United a bit too hot to handle.
