Leicester City have signed Kelvin Etuhu on loan from Manchester City till the end of the season. Kano born Etuhu can play both as a striker and a right winger. If Kelvin’s surname seems familiar to you, it is because his elder brother is Dickson Etuhu, currently representing Sunderland in the Premiership.

Leicester are nineteenth in the Championship, and are tied on points with Preston North End and Coventry City ( All have 40)

Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently in the relegation zone but have two games in hand, are four points away with 36.

This is Kelvin’s second loan spell, the first being at Rochdale. He scored 2 goals in four appearances before a knee injury prevented him from playing any further.

The Foxes have scored only 34 goals all season, with Canadian striker Iain Hume leading with eight goals.

Etuhu is the second player on loan from a domestic club at the Walker Stadium currently, the other being Ben Alnwick ( Tottenham Hotspur)
