Wolfsburg transfers summer 2008

Wolfsburg, managed by Felix Magath, finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season. Here is the list of transfers made by the club in the summer as they aim to improve upon last season’s performance.

Peter Van den Hayden ( Mainz- 2 year contract, with option for a third year), Pablo Thiam ( retiring- will take management role under Magath), Emre Ozturk- (SV Sandhausen), Valdet Rama ( FC Ingolstadt 04), Facundo Quiroga ( released-River Plate), Sergiu Radu ( FC Koln- loan), Marcelinho ( Flamengo- about 1 million euros)
