Defending champions Tottenham Hotspur will play Watford at Vicarage Road, while Arsenal, whose set of youngsters so impressively demolished Wigan Athletic in the fourth round, meet giant killers Burnley at Turf Moor.

Manchester United meet Blackburn Rovers in the only all Premiership tie. Tony Pulis’ Stoke City will play Derby County, who beat Leeds United in the fourth round.

Out of the eight quarter finalists last year, only three are at the same stage this year- Spurs, Rovers and Arsenal.

Last season’s quarterfinals were all Premiership ties, but with the likes of Burnley causing upsets, we still have lower level clubs remaining in the competition this season.
