Laszlo to hunt for a striker in January

By Soccer Blog | Nov 26, 2008

Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has said that acquiring a striker is on the top of his January shopping list. The Scottish club currently have just one main striker in the form of Christian Nade after Jamie Mole and Mike Tullberg both received injury set backs earlier this week. Mole is suspected to have a broken foot, and Tullberg’s ruptured thigh muscle is still giving him problems.

This is what Laszlo said to the Edinburgh Evening News

“We have a plan for January but it’s too early to talk about it in detail.”

“I think we maybe have some problems in two or three positions but we must look at the striker position.

“We will look to the future, for young players who can benefit the team for many years.”

Hearts are currently third in the Scottish Premier League with twenty six points from fourteen games and play second placed Rangers on Saturday.
