By Soccer Blog | Dec 9, 2008

Norway boss Åge Hareide has resigned as manager of the country’s national football team. Hareide, 55, took over from Nils Johan Semb in 2003, but failed to take the team to Euro 2004, Euro 2008 and the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Norway are currently last in Group H in qualification for the 2010 World Cup, seven points behind group leaders Holland. They have 2 points from three games, having drawn against Iceland and Scotland and lost to the Dutch.
