Borussia Dortmund sign Kevin Prince Boateng

Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with English club Tottenham Hotspur for the loan transfer of Kevin Prince Boateng. Midfielder Boateng joined Spurs from Hertha Berlin in 2007 for £5.4million, but has unable to establish himself in the first team at White Hart Lane.

Back to Germany- Kevin Prince Boateng

Boateng will be at Dortmund till June 30, 2009. Dortmund also have an option to make the move permanent. Spurs had earlier rejected an offer from Dortmund for Boateng in the summer of 2008 because they wanted the Germans to increase their offer for Boateng.

The announcement of the transfer was made by BVB Director of Sport Michael Zorc in Spain.
