Inverness Caledonian Thistle have parted company with manager Craig Brewster this morning. Brewster and his assistant Malcolm Thompson were sacked following Inverness’ 1-0 defeat to Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.

The loss was Inverness’ seventh straight one and Caley currently sit at the bottom of the Scottish Premier League with seventeen points from 21 games.

This was Brewster’s second spell with Caley Thistle. He had earlier managed them between 2004 and 2006 before joining Dundee United.

Graeme Bennett will temporarily take charge of affairs at Caley Thistle before a successor is permanently announced.

Caley face Hearts in the SPL this weekend.
