According to reports in the media, Portsmouth manager Tony Adams wants to bring former Arsenal teammate Patrick Vieira on loan to Fratton Park. Vieira, who currently plays for Internazionale, has eighteen months left on his contract at the San Siro.

Vieira is currently out of action with an Achilles tendon injury, and the 31 year old is also reportedly considering quitting international football in order to concentrate on his club career.
