Hansa Rostock sign Finnish striker Henri Myntti

henri-myntti2.Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock have signed Finnish striker Henri Myntti from Tampere United.

The 199cm tall Finn originally started his career as a central defender, but switched positions at Tampere last year. In the 2008 Veikkausliiga season, Myntti was top scorer along with FC Honka’s Aleksandr Kokko. Both of them scored thirteen goals.

Myntti has reportedly signed a contract which will keep him at Hansa till 30 June 2010. Rostock are Myntti’s sixth club, with the lanky centre forward having played before at Tromsa,FC Hämeenlinna,FF Jaro, KPV and of course Tampere.
