Leon Andreasen moves to Hannover

By Soccer Blog | Jan 31, 2009

leon_andreasenGerman club Hannover 96 have announced the signing of Danish midfielder Leon Andreasen from Premiership club Fulham FC for a fee of €2.5m. Andreasen, 25 had joined Fulham only last year from Werder Bremen, but failed to cement his place in the starting XI at Loftus Road.

Andreasen started his career with local club Aarghus, and moved to Werder Bremen in 2005. Unfortunately, his career with Werder did not take off, and a year later, he was loaned out to Mainz. In January 2008, he joined Fulham on a three and a half year contract.

Andreasen has won 12 international caps for Denmark, the first of which came in March 2007 against Spain.
