Rade Prica quits Sunderland for Rosenborg

28 year old Swedish striker Rade Prica has left Sunderland for Norwegian club Rosenborg. Prica joined Sunderland from Danish club Aab Aalborg for £2m in January 2008, but only made six appearances for the Black Cats.

Prica made his Sunderland debut against Birmingham City on January 29, 2008. He came on as a substitute for Dwight Yorke and scored the second goal for Sunderland.

Prica is expected to make his Rosenborg debut against Valerenga this weekend.

Rosenborg are Prica’s sixth club- he has previously played for Ljungby, Helsingborg, Hansa Rostock and of course Aalborg and Sunderland.
