Chris Gunter joins Nottingham Forest on loan

By Soccer Blog | Mar 12, 2009

Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of full back Chris Gunter from Tottenham Hotspur on loan till the end of the season. The 19 year old Wesh international joined Spurs from Cardiff City in January last year, but found opportunities hard to come by at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp had earlier said that he wanted to loan Gunter out for him to get some valuable match experience under his belt. Preston North End and Queens Park Rangers were also linked with a bid for Gunter, but he has now moved to Forest.

Gunter could make his Nottingham Forest debut this Saturday against Burnley.
