Goal scorers :- Bernard Parker 7′, Siphiwe Tshabalala 90+2′, Morten Gamst Pedersen 27′
The first game at the Royal Bakofeng Stadium saw the hosts need a late goal from Siphiwe Tshabalala to win their international friendly. Great result for South Africa, considering Norway beat Germany not too long ago.
South Korea 2-1 Iraq (10.00 GMT) ( Suwon World Cup Stadium)
Goal scorers:- Kim Chi-woo 55′, Lee Keun-ho pen 70′/Hwang Jae-won OG 52′
Thailand 3-1 New Zealand ( 6.30 pm Thai Time) ( Supachalasai National Stadium, Bangkok)
Tawan Sripan’s last game for the Thais ends on a winning note as Peter Reid’s team beat the All Whites 3-1. Sripan also scored the second goal for Thailand. Kris Bright scored the only goal of the game for the Kiwis.
