Goal scorers:- Michael Ballack 11′, Ashley Williams OG 48′

Goal 1- Stunning strike from German skipper Michael Ballack. Pity only 26,000 odd people at the Millenium Stadium saw it- it was the GOAL of the qualifiers.

Goal 2- Just as Wales were looking for an entry back into the game after having been denied what seemed a legitimate penalty, Ashley Williams conceded an extremely unfortunate own goal.
