6′- Sanchez forces a save from Dennis Eilhoff.
8′- Hamit Altintop stings Eilhoff’s hands with a shot from 30 yards.
17′- Polish striker Artur Wichniarek goes close for Bielefeld after an excellent move by the home side.
19′- Wichniarek’s striking partner Felix Katongo goes close too, but the Zambian doesn’t have enough space to actually trouble Manuel Neuer.
28′- Kuranyi has a great chance to beat Eilhoff after Hamit Altintop sets him up, but the finishing is poor.
38′- Vlad Munteanu gets it all wrong as he doesn’t even get his shot on target from inside the box with no Schalke defender there to trouble him.
45′- Goal for Schalke. A sweeping move sees the ball come to Sanchez, who does a clever little backheel for Christian Pander. Pander crosses into the box, and his cross is met by the unmarked Jefferson Farfan. 1-0 Schalke.
52′- Jermaine Jones finds Sanchez with a defence splitting pass. He crosses for Kuranyi, who finds the back of the net, only for the goal to be disallowed for offside. The linesman raised the flag against Sanchez.
67- Bielefeld substitution. Zlatko Janjic on for Robert Tesche.
78′- Schalke substitution. Krstajic on for Bordon.
Bielefeld substituion. Halfar on for Munteanu.
81′ Bielefeld substituion. Sadik on for Marx.
82- Vicente Sanchez misses an opportunity to put Schalke 2-0 ahead. Shoots at the keeper when he could have done much better.
84′-Schalke substitution. Rakitic on for Sanchez.
88- Bielefeld substitute Sadik fails to score after being given a free header in the box. Heads it over when he should, should, should, have scored.
89′- Kuranyi fires the ball past Eilhoff, but it hits the post.
90′- Jones scores, but the flag is up already.
90+2′- Goal scorer Farfan is replaced by Orlando Engelaar
90+3′- Kuranyi scores his 10th goal of the season, and it is game over. On the counter, Altintop feeds Rakitic who in turn finds Jones. Jones slides it across, and Katongo makes an attempt to intercept the ball, but it in vain. It falls to Kuranyi, who slides it in.
