PFA awards nominations 2008-09

The list of nominees for the Professional Football Association ( PFA) awards for the 2008-09 season have been released.

The list for the PFA player of the year award is dominated by Manchester United, with Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard being the only non United player in the six man shortlist.

Stephen Ireland (Man City)
Aaron Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur)
Ashley Young (Aston Villa)
