New Stoke City 2009-10 away shirt

Stoke City have announced that their new 2009-10 away shirt will be released on May 21. The photos of the New Stoke away strip have been released though, and the Potters have opted for an all black strip.

The 2008-09 SCFC away jersey was yellow in colour, and was worn with blue shorts. The 2009-10 away kit is all black in colour, and is manufactured by Le Coq Sportif.

Senegal international Abdoulaye Faye described it as “an oustanding new kit.”

The Stoke City top is black in colour, as mentioned above. It has the official club crest on the left, and the Le Coq Sportif logo on the right.

Sponsors Britannia have their names written in white letters in a red stripe in the middle. There are red stripes running down both the shoulders, and very thin white stripes to accompany them.

Check out the photos of the new Stoke 2009-10 away shirt. Modeled by Stoke players Ricardo Fuller, Abdoulaye Faye and Rory Delap.

  1. ‘yellow with red stripe’ that’s the current top so it looks like the new one will be black. They need get rid of the horrible yellow one anyway.

  2. Got that Ben, but it is also a possibility that the new one is not much different from the older one.

There is a hint of black in the picture, but it is inconclusive.
