English Premier League transfer rumours and gossip from May 12, 2009.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a £15m bid for Chelsea’s John Obi Mikel in the summer.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says that no amount of money can make him part with hard working Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt.

Bolton Wanderers want to make 300% profit on Gary Cahill if any club are to take him away from the Reebok. Trotters boss Gary Megson has slapped a £20m price tag on Cahill, who was bought from Aston Villa for £5m. Arsenal are reportedly interested in Cahill.

The Sun reports that Carlos Tevez is keen on a move to Liverpool, who have contacted Kia Joorabchian to kickstart the transfer process.

Antonio Valencia is a backup target for Manchester United if Cristiano Ronaldo moves to the Bernabeu. This Valencia-Ronaldo-Ribery saga involving United and Real Madrid is really making me tired.

Liverpool might move for Stewart Downing in the summer, and are reportedly ready to pay £12m. Surely there are better left wingers you can buy for that sum?
