Great finish from Messi. Bilbao keeper Iraizoz gets a hand to Samuel Eto’o’s effort, but cannot stop Messi from firing home the rebound.

Messi scored the last one, and the little Argentine sets turns provider for this goal. Athletic Bilbao are caught on the counter, and Krkic produces a good finish to double Barcelona’s lead.

Fabulous free kick from Xavi. Not many better dead ball specialists in the world than him at this moment. It is all gone wrong for Bilbao after a dream start.
