The Guardian is running a seven part series on the seven deadly sins of football starting from tomorrow ( May 16, 2009- Saturday). First up are David Beckham and Ashley Cole in the greed category.

Here is the full list of players being featured in the seven deadly sins of football.

16 May- Greed featuring LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham and Chelsea defender Ashley Cole.

17 May- Pride featuring Arsenal playmaker Andrei Arshavin and Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley

18 May- Wrath featuring Man City striker Craig Bellamy and Ipswich manager Roy Keane

19 May- Envy featuring former Liverpool keeper Bruce Gobbelaar and WAG Danielle Lloyd.

20 May- Gluttony featuring former Chelsea keeper Mark Bosnich and Paul Gascoigne.

21 May- Sloth featuring England captain John Terry and Anfield legend Ian Rush.

22 May- Lust featuring football pundit David Mellor and Brazilian striker Robinho

Interesting set of personalities in that list I’d have to say.

Should be a good read as it comes from the Guardian stable.
