A League club Perth Glory have unveiled their new 2009-10 home strip. The shirt was officially released by club owner Tony Sage, and features vertical stripes for the first time in the club’s history.

The new 2009-10 Perth Glory shirt is manufactured by Reebok. It has white stripes against the traditional purple background. Sponsors QBE Insurance have their presence in the centre of the shirt, while the club’s new logo is present on the left breast.

Perth Glory also announced the signings of Andy Todd and Branko Jelic at the kit launch. The new home shirt is accompanied by purple shorts and white socks, and will also be worn on select away games.

Defender Jamie Harnwell said, “I think it’s a great new design, it looks smart and adds to the renewed feeling that we all have at the club.”
