Cole signs new four year deal

Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has put pen to paper a new four year deal, following in the footsteps of club captain and fellow defender John Terry, who inked a new five year deal on Monday.

Cole, who joined Chelsea from London rivals Arsenal in 2006, said that Chelsea were becoming more of a “family”, and that team spirit at the Bridge was now better than ever.
