Liverpool 6-1 Hull City goals

A hat trick from Fernando “El Nino” Torres gave Liverpool their sixth straight win in all competitions as they crushed Phil Brown’s Hull City 6-1 at Anfield. The Reds now face Fiorentina in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Liverpool 1-0 Hull City ( Fernando Torres 12′ goal )

He opened the scoring against West Ham, and has done it again the Tigers. Torres is given too much space in the Hull box, and puts Liverpool ahead.

Brazilian Geovanni grabs an equaliser for Hull just minutes after Torres’ opener.

Liverpool 2-1 Hull City ( Fernando Torres 28′ goal)

Benayoun the creator of this one. Bit of luck for Torres considering it rebounded off a Hull defender, but it is another goal for Liverpool’s No.9.

Liverpool 3-1 Hull City ( Fernando Torres 47′ goal )

The second half resumes, and Torres kills off the game with his third goal. Eighth goal of the season for the Spanish superstar.

Liverpool 4-1 Hull City ( Steven Gerrard 61′ goal)

Gerrard on the scoresheet now. Another bad day for the men from Humberside, but an excellent day for Liverpool.

Liverpool 5-1 Hull City ( Ryan Babel 88′ goal)

It is getting embarrassing for Hull now. Dutch forward Ryan Babel scores Liverpool’s fifth.

Liverpool 6-1 Hull City ( Albert Riera 90′)

Spanish left winger Albert Riera completes the rout as Hull are hit for a six at Anfield. It took a big deflection, but Liverpool are certainly not complaining about the outcome. Dramatic collapse from Hull in the last few minutes of the game.

    Torres scores with such composure and elegance, which doesn’t exactly fit his nickname “el nino”- i guess all that matters is that he leaves the defense in ruins.

    He’s certainly been wonderful for Liverpool this season.

    If he can keep himself injury free, he’ll probably end up as the top scorer in the league this season.
