The 23 member shortlist for the 2009 FIFA World Player of the Year award has been announced. The winner will be announced on December 21, 2009. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres, who finished first, second and third respectively last year, are also in the running for this year’s award.

Its is no doubt that C.Ronaldo should be named the FIFA WORLD of the year 2009 to Messi.
He is better than Messi right now. He has all the caracters a best bootballer should have. For Messi there’s only one way of of doing things on the field. He takes ball from the right to left.
Ronaldo has the ability:
to score from any distance,
get through any defence by his tricks,
score with his head,
the master of free kick,
the master of power shot and you name it.
Until he can deteriorate on the field of play he’s still the best.
