Ipswich Town sign Crystal Palace striker on loan

Ipswich Town have confirmed the signing of Crystal Palace striker Stern John on a month’s loan. John joined Crystal Palace on a free transfer from Southampton in July 2009, but has made only seven appearances for the Eagles in a season blighted by injuries.

John is expected to make his Ipswich debut on Sunday when the Tractor Boys face Cardiff City. He will be at Portman Road till December 29. This is the second time John is working under Roy Keane- he was also under him for a brief while at Sunderland.
