Pompey keen to extend Jamie O’Hara loan deal

By Soccer Blog | Dec 3, 2009

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that Portsmouth have requested the North London club to extend Jamie O’Hara’s stay at Fratton Park. O’Hara signed on loan for Pompey in August 2009, and his deal expires in January 2010. O’Hara’s loan contract reportedly has a clause that allows him to stay at the South Coast outfit till the end of the season, but that is at Spurs’ discretion, and not Pompey’s.

O’Hara, 23, is contracted to Spurs till 2013. Redknapp has said that he wants to have a look at how things shape out between now and January 2010 before making a decision.
