Everton held Tottenham to a 2-2 draw last week, and they managed to again take a point against a London side this time around. Their opponents this week were league leaders Chelsea, who twice let their lead slip as they allowed the Toffees to draw 3-3. It completed a disappointing week of football for the Blues, who had lost 2-1 to Man City last week and were held to a draw by APOEL in the Champions League.
