England Soccer World Cup Roster 23 man squad

England manager Fabio Capello has just announced his squad for the 2010 World Cup.

Notable absentees include pacy Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, midfielder Scott Parker, and defender Michael Dawson.

Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David James, Robert Green.

Defenders: Jamie Carragher, Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock.

Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Forwards: Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney.

    There is no doubt that Fabio Capello is the man for his team. He strive to do whats the best strategic moves to compensate with the notable absentees of his star players.
