This excellent Wayne Rooney goal vs Barcelona was the equaliser in the Barcelona v Man Utd Champions League final on May 28, 2011. Rooney scored this goal vs Barca in the 34th minute to cancel out Pedro’s 27th minute opener for the Catalans. Rooney’s goal against Barcelona came against the run of play and could not have came at a better time for Man Utd as Barca were dominating the fixture and passing United out of the game.
Man Utd striker Rooney swapped passes with teammate Ryan Giggs before lashing a fabulous effort past Barca keeper Victor Valdes. A tad controversial goal because Giggs looked offside.

I´m happy about Wayne Rooney because I think he is having a really good season with Manchester United.
Rooney has shown in all the matches of champions league and Barclays league to have a positive attittude and that talks well about him.
Something that is wonderful to see in a player is the motivation and confidence and Rooney has those important tools.
