This Torres goal v Villa was scored in the Barclays Asia Trophy 2011 final contested between Chelsea and Aston Villa on July 30, 2011 and was El Nino’s first Chelsea goal of the 11/12 season. Torres’ goal against Villa was scored seconds after he had come on as a substitute for Daniel Sturridge.
Chelsea eventually won the game 2-0 and claimed the Asia Trophy 2011.
