This Rafael van der Vaart goal vs Arsenal gave Spurs the lead in the North London derby contested between the two sides on 2 October, 2011. Van der Vaart’s goal against Arsenal came after a slick passing move from Spurs with Emmanuel Adebayor supplying the final pass. Tottenham eventually won the game 2-1.
