Video- Robin Van Persie goal vs Everton 2011 December RVP Volley Goal Arsenal

This stunning Van Persie volley goal vs Everton ( see video below) put the Gunners ahead in their fixture against Everton FC on December 10, 2011. Van Persie’s goal against Everton was set up by Alex Song, with the Dutch striker showing superb reflexes to slam home a first time left footed volley after receiving a great pass from the Cameroon international. Arsenal won the game against Everton 1-0.

Great goal from RVP- the control on the volley marks it as a possible Arsenal goal of the season contender for 11/12.

Soon after the goal, “What a volley” was trending on Twitter.

  1. Im Sorry – Although RVP’s goal was OUTSTANDING! And dare i say “Perfect”…….Without that STUNNING pass from song that would have not been possible. That is potentially one of the best passes and foresight I have seen from any player in a long time. I genuinally believe that pass was better that David Silvas against Man Utd to setup Dzeko…

  2. @ Scott Ramsay, very true.

Song deserves more praise thrown his way.

Some more passes like that one won’t hurt though
