As a Spurs fan, I have every right to feel aggrieved

we played the football in the first half and the second. Chelsea had five shots on target and all of them were goals.

Not to mention the shit regarding THE goal- I for one wouldn’t have been unhappy had ‘arry marched them off the park in protest.

  2. FFF April 15, 2012 8:19 pm

Chelshit, I hope Barca spank yeh in the CL clash

Plus Liverpool spank yeh in the FA final

  3. josh April 15, 2012 8:27 pm

    liverpool will win the final

  4. Mr April 15, 2012 8:37 pm

Mr Atkinson must explain how he thought it was a goal

Did he mistake the Tottenham players’ white uniform with the ball?

  5. blah blah blah April 15, 2012 8:53 pm

@ Blah, would you have backed Chelsea to win at 1-1, a player down and half an hour to go?

    I think not

  9. just April 15, 2012 10:17 pm

u know, the tin is the better team here right now is chelsea.regardless of mata’s goal we still won 5-1 and if u want, subtract mata’s goal it will be 4-1 here so wat is ur problem.EXCUSE ME

  10. Achums dachung April 15, 2012 10:45 pm

I know most people will not agree with me but it’s the truth. I don’t know if chelsea will the champions league or not but am very sure they will play the finals. History has it that any time chelsea sacks a coach and puts in a care taker who already owns a post in chelsea fc, chelsea plays the champions league & fa cup finals. Kudos to chelsea for the splendid performance

  11. Chris D April 15, 2012 10:53 pm

    @ Coals

Yes, because Van Der Vaart has scored every penalty he has taken in a Spurs shirt …….

Ultimately Spurs didn’t back up their pre-match talk, the last fifteen minutes was just embarrassing

At the end of the day, the decisions were made and Spurs lost. Even if the 2nd goal wasn’t allowed, the Second half you were well and truly beaten. Gallas and King were strolling back trying to defend. All credit to Spurs who deserved to take the lead in the 1st half, however, they didn’t. This is football, if you haven’t been able to realise that the controversy makes the games all the more exciting then you clearly are gifted with a sense of ignorance. It was a great game and a great atmosphere at the ground, but all in all, Chelsea took their chances and won the game. Over the 90 minutes, was a well deserved win.

  18. Ali April 15, 2012 11:11 pm

As a Chelsea fan I thank Allah(God) for the win but I surely feel sorry for Spurs. But the score line wasnt 2-1 it was 5-1 so you might as well as blame your defenders what went wrong.Ask Bale why he scored,if he didnt it would have been Cech red and a penelty so we are grateful to Bale.At this stage Spurs should have taken there chances but instead awarded Ramires a goal.So
Mata’s goal shouldnt be the reason for Spurs to loose.Viva la bleu!Cwr Mata celebrates even knowing its a fraud goal to confuse the referee.

  19. Jordana April 15, 2012 11:18 pm

LOL so funny how Tottenham fans were bragging how their team was so good but they’ve been exposed as the rubbish side they are – they don’t deserve to be in the Premiership let alone the top four!

  20. Al April 15, 2012 11:28 pm

When it comes to taking an opportunity to win a trophy, spurs come up short yet again.
This is a Chelsea team in transition and reconstruction and still beat you lot 5 – 1 ???

  21. David April 16, 2012 12:01 am

Haha, it’s funny how many of u are mad that Chelsea trashed Tottenham and for all ur info Liverpool won’t beat us.
Also who knows maybe we might send Barca home too, like we just did on ur ass!!

  22. t April 16, 2012 12:21 am

Tottenham are useless. Once again spurs have melted at the end of the season. All we hear all year is great football this, gareth bale that. As always spurs fall away, never beat the big boys and never win any trophies. Gareth Bale looks like a monkey and normal order is restored as Chelsea march over tottenham in convincing fashion. Yes that goal wasn’t in but thats the ref’s fault not Chelsea’s. The rest of the match showed a pitiful example of the difference in class between a big team like chelsea and a two bob team like spurs.

  23. Ste b April 16, 2012 12:46 am

Chelsea did deserve the win despite some bad decisions against tottenham. I enjoy watching both teams but even as a everton fan I hope Liverpool win in the final, lost all respect for Chelsea and there supports after interrupting the minutes silence! Complete disrespect!

  24. jack April 16, 2012 1:48 am

chelsea fans are scum, that selfish you cant even be quiet for 60 seconds to show respect for 96 innocent ppl who died for no reason in an fa cup semi final, what if 96 of your fans died ther at wembley today how would you feel chelsea fans who have been spotted wasting ther breath inside that minute should be fined and banned from every football stadium as a liverpool fan i hav evry right to be upset and i am but i no that not all chelsea fans wer doin this so gud for them ppl but all you ppl that did waste ther breath you should be ashamed of yourself .S.C.U.M.

  25. Ousman April 16, 2012 2:08 am

spurs is nt d team 2 stop d blues in any givn semifinal match.

  26. Phelm hart April 16, 2012 2:30 am

Chelsea is the best club eva.

  27. deenas April 16, 2012 2:38 am

chelsea were the better team.It would be nice to see a match up between drogba and suarez in the final.

  28. cfc April 16, 2012 2:41 am

It was goal. The ball crossed the line. Just look at this pic you bitter losers.

  29. sumit April 16, 2012 2:42 am

shit! chelsea they not gonna win over liverpool!

  30. Wah Wah Tottenham crybabies April 16, 2012 3:11 am

Stop whining. The ball went over the line, at least momentarily. Before BAE kicked it out.
If goal line technology were implemented it would have definitely been a goal.

Also, without the controversy, Spurs would not have been fired up to grab one goal back.

Finally, Spurs lost, because Chelsea was the overall better team. More importantly, the Spurs defenders Gallas, BAE and Ledley King were utter crap. Carry on like this and even Mark Hughes’ QPR will beat you.

  31. Finn April 16, 2012 3:16 am

I’m a die hard chelsea fan and i watch every game no matter what. I believe that chelsea will beat barcalona. Hard. Now tottenham had a terrible game compared to the champs (chelsea). All the goals were amazing, but mata good job on confusing the referee. By the way the one and only drogba, will crush anyone on the pitch. Did you see his outside foot touch to get the ball on the side to shoot, then score. That was awesome. Lampard and drogba shows that just beacause were old doesn’t mean that we can’t score. So all i have to say is good luck chelsea for the game against barcalona, which we will win!!!!!!!!!

  37. astina April 16, 2012 4:41 am

serves Bale right for his post match comments on Chelsea…
Spurs got a hiding fromthem ..and his stupid mistake of scoring the goal ensured Cech gets to stay on field…

    what a moron

  38. Bangladesh April 16, 2012 4:58 am

LOOOOOOL so 1st Tottenham fans were saying Spurs will win the league, then they were saying they’ll win Europa, then they were saying they’ll beat Arsenal at home, then they were saying they’ll finish 3rd, then they were say they’ll finish 4th, then they said they will win the FA Cup and now they are saying they’ll be grateful to finish 6th behind Newcastle and Chelsea LOOOOL
Hi 5 2 you Spuds your a small mid-table club that over achieved, even Harry admitted Spuds over achieved by getting in the top 6 when they generally finish 10th or below HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  39. WorstHasYetToCome April 16, 2012 5:09 am

Doesn’t anybody notice there is a serious problem with Spurs defence?….for a long long time already
The defenders are all too indivualistic, selfish, protecting only their own territory…..King should have run and stood behind Galas, just to standby in case Galas can’t block the shot from Drogba. Spurs coaching team has far too much attacking background and none of them has defensive experience……..wake up Spurs!!! If you don’t have the tactics, pls don’t climb high up league table and then lose miserably, shamefully……Defend is the best form Attack (when you can’t score). It is obvious Spurs cannot score more than 2-3 goals per game even with smaller teams (excpet the one with Newcastle)……unlike ManU/C, Asernal, Chelsea…..wake up wake up Spurs, stop fooling yourselves by showing the WORLD you can attack before finding a solid defensive solution

  40. Ish April 16, 2012 5:42 am

We want Chelsea win Champions League, The FA Cup and Fourth Position in Premier League…

  41. Harry April 16, 2012 6:05 am

Despite all the commotions, the ball did cross the line. Check it out; a photo finish when the ball was crossing the line on Chelsea FC web site. Bear in mind that the ball in the photo is still in the process of traveling towards Spurs inside goal line until someone tries to kick it away from the goal line. Mr. Atkinson made his decision in split second and people should stop blaming the ref for a split second incident.

  42. Obuku April 16, 2012 6:30 am

    chelsea,we hav 3matches 2win d champions league.

  43. che' que April 16, 2012 6:32 am

Dear all do not struggle, BARCELONA WILL BEAT CHELSEA HARDLY, Good luck dudes.

  45. Sam April 16, 2012 7:02 am

I feel for the Liverpool fans that died. But what’s all this hate towards chelsea fan’s? First of all, only a minority of chelsea fans interrupted the minute silence. And secondly, tottenham and Chelsea fans have nothing to do with Liverpool, or Everton, the fans that died that day or the italian who died of a heart attack. The FA shouldn’t push moments of silence and tributes down the throats of people who aren’t involved.

  46. Sam April 16, 2012 7:45 am

BTW the Mata goal, was a goal… i(dot)dailymail(dot)co(dot)uk/i/pix/2012/04/15/article-2130148-129C99C7000005DC-81_634x369(dot)jpg

  50. Kael April 16, 2012 9:40 am

    @Mark (Original Post)

    1. Look at the pictures of the ball over the line.

    2. 5 shots on target hey?

Tottenham Hotspur 8(6) Shots (on Goal) 16(10) Chelsea

Don’t just flame randomly because your team was well beaten, otherwise you will be made to look very silly.

Goal or NOT……..Don’t they give freekicks anymore to the defending team when a clear foul is committed. Damn… taking out three players including the goalkeeper

  54. Ankit Shah April 16, 2012 11:03 am

  57. Klaas-Jan April 16, 2012 11:47 am

CHELSEA is the most prestigious club in England. Located in Kensington and Chelsea – the richest borough in London. All other clubs are, no offense of course – just scum including Liverpool…

  58. Kathy Ali April 16, 2012 1:23 pm

Disappointed Spurs didn’t win. Shame on you Chelsea fans who didn’t observe the minute’s silence in tribute to the 96 Liverpool fans who died at Hillsborough. This wasn’t about football it was about respect for all those who lost their lives. You should be ashamed! No humanity at all. Don’t worry, you’ll be knocked out of the Champions League by the brilliant Barcelona and you will lose the FA Cup Final!

  59. SP April 16, 2012 1:33 pm

Chelsea’s season in May reads as follows
    FA Cup – None
    Champions League – None…None…None (poor them – they’re gonna get hammered )
    League Cup – None
    League – None

Stop…Stop..Stop, they actually getting zilts. What a load of over priced piece of shits. Go ask Fergie for some advice. Money cannot buy success

  60. Nakul April 16, 2012 1:42 pm

  61. andre April 16, 2012 1:55 pm

It was a goal, unfortunately the camera angle was bad when showing the goal replay last night, and now we can find several picture proving that it was a goal

  63. william April 16, 2012 2:57 pm

chelsea have everything to beat barcelona, except the 12th player of barcelona, yes the ref. who still remember how ballack furiously chasing after the ref for protest ? and how drogba with all his might been tackled right on the foot by abidal and there’s no penalty?
chelsea indeed a good team but they will have a tough time fightng UEFALONA.
and for your info i’m not chelsea fan, im man U

  64. bob April 16, 2012 3:11 pm

    @ Coals

How can you say that it would’ve been 1-1 if Mata’s goal had been disallowed, surely the game would’ve been played out differently from there.

  65. Alan April 16, 2012 3:17 pm

In retrospect and, after seeing the stills from exactly the angle that the referee saw, a very well done to Mr Atkinson. The ball is clearly over the line and I hope that all the pundits and critics will have the decency to apologise to him

  66. Coals April 16, 2012 3:20 pm

@ Bob, I’m saying Cech sent off for Adebayor, and somebody ( VdV/ Adebayor converts the resulting penalty)- ergo 1-1.

That goal was a sucker punch mentally. Take that out and I think they would have probably won the game.

  67. Alan April 16, 2012 3:21 pm

In retospect and, after seeing the stills from exactly the angle that the referee was positioned, a very well done to Mr Atkinson. The ball is clearly over the line and I hope that the critics will have the decency to now congratulate Mr Atkinson in the same tones that they poured their vitriolism towards him yesterday

  68. rajiv April 16, 2012 3:23 pm

chelsea fans are a disgrace to ftball so is chelsea..

u wnt be earning respects of anyone because of your ego..

  76. Ben April 17, 2012 12:43 am

To everyone who said Spurs could have had a comeback… YOU DONT KNOW THAT.
You do not know that if that goal had not been counted, you would score the next goal. Everything leads to something else. That controversial goal lead to Bales goal. So if we did not score, Bale might not have scored and we may have scored again.
You dont f know.. you lost 5-1 get the f over it :)

  77. hedi April 17, 2012 2:34 pm

to all the spurs fans, you’s all need to get over the FACT that you’s wouldnt have won that match….. take off 😀

  78. hedi April 17, 2012 2:36 pm
