  19. GothamCityOfAngelsAndDemons May 13, 2012 7:52 pm

Brilliant effort from Manchester United with many injury problems throughout the season. To only lose on goal difference AFTER ManCity took maximum points off United….amazing effort, so close but what happened the last time Utd came so close :)

  20. Landry May 13, 2012 7:52 pm

Manchester City wouldn’t have won today without Balotelli.
Acknowledge his greatness… Manchester City needs him and he needs Manchester City.

  21. GothamCityOfAngelsAndDemons May 13, 2012 7:59 pm

I would be embarrassed if my team spent that much and flirted with relegation the first year…spent
a lot more the year after and still failed to qualify for the Champions League finishing outside the top 4, spent even more the next year and lost the title quite convincingly though won a cup (the first piece of silverwear in how long?) and then the next year spent even more and lost the Community Shield against their Manchester rivals, got knocked out of the FAcup at home to their local rivals and in the league, even their manager didn’t think they could do it, saying the title race was over many times but in the end won on the last kick of the campaign on goal difference. ManUtd have never won a title that unconvincingly….only good signs ahead if you’re a ManUtd fan :)

Not a plastic, cockney manc in site.. everyone from manchester supporting a team from manchester.. to all the manchester lads I’ve worked with on site over the years who were all city fans congratulations. I had the pleasure of watching Bell, Summerby, Law, Lee, Corrigan, Watson etc most Boxing Day’s at Anfield in the 70’s and 80’s. All the best.. a jealous Scouser

  42. mu hater since 1992 May 14, 2012 1:55 pm

@gothamcityofangel: how long u’ve been united fan? fergie also spent alot of money during 85 to 90.. he was almost fired by the fans before he got the title on 1993.. even fergie need 7 years to got the title and 14years for ucl titled.. if I were u I might to suck my own d.i.c.k..

  43. James Hyden May 15, 2012 7:28 am

what a dramatic game! QPR should blame their red card player

  44. Rugby Window May 15, 2012 12:42 pm

Wow, probably the best way to win a league ever. There could just be a movie made of this one.

  45. Sam Bellis May 16, 2012 12:04 am

It takes a lot to take United’s title. Keep it up United. You are the only team who is always challenging for the trophy.

  46. The Truth May 16, 2012 5:48 am

Do you know City’s team out on the last day cost 7 Million less than the rancid meat to school children empire cost. Google Manchester school children sold rancid meat or check out cost of the teams at the weekend.

  50. Business Support Services May 30, 2012 9:58 pm

Amazing final minutes of the game. Disappointing that QPR couldn’t hold City, otherwise neutral between the Mancs. However, seeing the City supporters’ genuine joy at winning was more rewarding than the mere ‘acceptance’ of another title win.

  51. dr. fredwalter July 25, 2012 7:42 pm

To think that city were trailing 2-1 after 90 and getting two last minute goals from Dzeko and Aguero has got to be an extremely incredible moment! Just shows man city’s amazing ‘never give up’ momentum! Also, well done to QPR for avoiding relegation. I’ll never forget that at all. Well done Man City!

  55. James November 22, 2012 5:29 pm

i can’t believe there wasn’t an FA inquiry into this match. QPR deliberately threw this game to allow city to win it

I have never in all my days seen a team concede a goal and then from their centre kick, punt the ball in to the opposition half so that they can continue more waves of attack on goal.

QPR are a disgrace to this league and should have been relegated for deliberately throwing this match
