  1. Gerrard to Suarez aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnd goaaaallllllllllll

    Beautiful.

Luis is easily the best player in this Liverpool team

  2. I am Man United fan & i have never liked Suarez but that lad is a good footballer that’s fact!

  3. Brendan is the guy, the philosophy is the ingredient, Gerald the magician, Raheem the Talent and SuareZ the divine intellectual. i have supported this club 4 25 years n am glad that we still have n strive for who we really are.

  4. As an LFC fan I thought S. Gerrard was losing it all but I was very wrong. LFC needs him more now than ever and if he plays like this we can get a Champions league slot. And for Sterling and Suarez……….just GREAT.

  5. We have had a lot of new faces in the Liverpool squad recently and we have had a lot of different Managers/Philosophies implemented in the team during the last 4 years. This is the reason for our lack of consistency/determination/character/ ‘luck’ and finally Champions League.

I’m a lfc fan since I can recall it and I never saw an lfc team with 4 or 5 SUPERSTARS. When we won 5 titles in 2001 or the Champions league in 2005, we had “average” or “just above average” players bar Gerrard/Owen and Gerrard/Alonso. The rest of the team just gelled superbly well together creating great partnerships like Hypia/Henchoz or Hypia/Carragher. We never really needed lot of superstars in our team to win titles!!

We already have lot of talents in our ACTUAL team.

    WORLDCLASS players: Gerrard and Suarez
Above-average players AT TOP OF THEIR FORM: Johnson, Enrique, Lucas
EXCITING TALENTS: Sterling, Sturridge, Allen, Suso
    GREAT PARTNERSHIPS: Agger/Skrtel
    AVERAGE PLAYERS: Reina, Downing

We already have here an exciting starting eleven which just need some time to gel together. Gel will bring more character, consistency and results.

LFC fans can be genuinely excited for the year 2013. I think Sturridge might just fill the gap up front.
But more importantly, we have a GREAT Manager and great staff who are finally doing what all great teams did some 10 years ago; BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE, from below (Academy etc), buying players fitting our new strategy/philosophy (not just because of their names). All we can hope for is that Rodgers and Co. will stay at lfc for long

If there is something in need for a quick fix, it would be to find a new keeper. I have a lot of respect for Reina but he is no more at the level expected from a keeper in a top team. To me, he is not even playing at the same level than the other ACTUAL players in the other departments at lfc. The errors he has made, costs us a lot of points this season.

So my wish for 2013 is a new keeper and a long-term replacement for Gerrard…
