Fabulous to watch if you were a Liverpool fan. Almost perfect, bar that period at the beginning of the second half till Paulinho’s red, where Spurs had more of the ball.

As for Spurs, struggled to cope with Liverpool’s pressing and pace. Defence terrible. One of Rodgers’ finest results.

    Suarez is a BEAST!

The first Suarez goal showed what the day was going to like. He just ran past two Tottenham players, two not one, and got into position for an easy finish.

Great, GREAT time to be an lfc fan!!
We have a fantastic squad with lot to prove! What is most surprising is the impact of our midfield on the game. Tottenham has plenty of good imposing midfielders who many though would have destroyed our midfield. But it was not to be, congratulations to Rodgers for the hunger he builds within the squad. When we see players like Henderson, Lucas or Allen playing like they did, coming from where they were. It is all down to man management! AVB can take note!!

Adding to this a SUPERB Suarez, consistent Coutinho and a refreshed Sterling in front. There was no way Tottenham could have won or drawn this game. Both Sakho and Skrtl were very good at stopping Spurs with special mention to Sakho who is giving a HUGE selection headache to Rodgers. Looking at the performance of the 2 recently, Agger should be worried.

Again great football from Flanagan! Great to see a Scouser rising like this.

    KEEP IT UP TEAM LFC!!!

High line + slow Dawson + out of place Capoue against Suarez is just asking for trouble.

CONTEXT!! Fantastic squad in terms of hunger! Read full comment!
While Tottenham tactics was questionable you cannot drawn the credit of LFC for taking advantage of these errors. A 5-0 score always speak for itself!
If Henderson is a “bag of sh**”, 90% of EPL midfielders are “bags of sh**”. His energy, versatility and global improvement this season makes him an important part of this lcc team. He is still 23 and will develop in a far better player in the future.
