By Soccer Blog | Feb 27, 2015

Yokohama Rubber have been announced as Chelsea FC’s new shirt sponsors, replacing Samsung after the two parties signed a five year agreement. The deal is worth $60m/season (40 million pounds per season) and is more than double of what Samsung used to pay the Blues.

Turkish Airlines were rumoured to be Chelsea’s new kit sponsors after it became known that the Samsung deal was ending after the 14/15 Premier League season, but Yokohama have won the race with their bid, easily the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in Chelsea’s history
