2019 U20 World Cup to be hosted by Poland | Peru to host U17 World Cup 2019

By Soccer Blog | Mar 16, 2018

Poland will host the next edition of the U20 World Cup, world football’s reigning body FIFA have announced today in Bogota (March 16, 2018). India, who hosted the last edition of the U17 World Cup (won by England last year), were also interested, but Poland were chosen as hosts.

FIFA also announced that Peru will be the next hosts of the U17 World Cup. This will be the second time that the South American nation are hosting the U17 WC, having previously hosted the World Cup back in 2005.

FIFA originally had ideas of an U18 World Cup and scrapping the U17 and U20 tournaments, but that decision has been put on hold.
