This Davinson Sanchez disallowed goal v PSV caused plenty of controversy as the Colombian defender’s goal for Tottenham was disallowed by the assistant. Sanchez’s goal was disallowed against PSV because Harry Kane was apparently offside- however many Spurs fans were of the opinion that it wasn’t offside and he was not interfering with play. This Lloris red card v PSV was another mistake from the Spurs keeper that saw him sent off and the Lilywhites reduced to ten in their European clash away in Eindhoven. The Lloris red card against PSV came in the 79th minute, with the French goalkeeper sent off after charging out in an attempt to stop Chucky Lozano. Fortunately for Spurs, they had another substitution left and used in to bring on Michel Vorm in place of forward Son.
