Spanish newspaper Player Ratings Spain 2-1 Romania 2019- How did Ceballos, Kepa, Andone & Tatarasanu play?

Here are the paper ratings for Spain vs Romania (5 September, 2019- European qualifying) from the Spanish press. La Roja claimed their first ever win in the country by winning 2-1 in Bucharest, edging the clash despite Diego Llorente’s late red card.

Kepa Arizzabalaga was the star for Spain according to these papers, especially given his fine late save to deny Puscas. His opposite number Tatarasanu was also stellar in goal. New Arsenal signing Dani Ceballos was decent, as shown in these newspaper ratings.

While most papers thought Sergio Ramos was also good, the exception was ABC, who chose to give him only a single star.
