German newspaper player ratings- Germany 2-4 Netherlands | Jonathan Tah criticised

By Soccer Blog | Sep 7, 2019

Here is how the German papers rated their players after the 4-2 loss to the Netherlands in Hamburg last night. Leverkusen centre back Jonathan Tah came in for a fair bit of flak- essentially the worst player in the XI fielded by Joachim Low against the Dutch according to these ratings. Serge Gnabry was perhaps the best German player on show.

Gnabry had put the Germans ahead, thanks to a wonderful defence splitting pass from Joshua Kimmich, but the Dutch fought their way back into the contest in the second half and the 51299 strong crowd were stunned as the visitors emerged 4-2 winners.
