Vincius Jr scored a great goal to set Real on their way, and Rodrygo doubled their advantage- the latter being the second fastest Real player to score on their league debut after Ronaldo.
The papers were full of praise for both Vincius and Rodrygo, but were disappointed by Luka Jovic. AS chose not to rate him, while Sport gave Jovic a player rating of 4/10. AS also thought Areola’s performance was worthy of only a single star, but Mundo thought otherwise, giving the goalkeeper three stars.
