Here is the list of nominees for the 2019 Ballon d’Or award. The shortlist has some major names missing- no Neymar, Harry Kane, Paul Pogba or even last year’s winner Luka Modric. The Croatian is the first reigning Ballon d’Or winner not to be nominated in the succeeding year.
